At Pragma Etimos we love to see the world from different perspectives. In this article we will know the opinion of Ravi Teja Banda, our Data Intelligence Developer, regarding Business Intelligence and Computer Vision. Born and raised in India, where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering, he continued his studies with a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He has a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision with a very clear idea: to create innovative solutions to solve real-world problems.
Business Intelligence & Computer Vision- Ravi Teja Banda

You started with a Master Degree in Aerospace. Tell me about your travel from Aerospace sector to the fields of Business Intelligence, Computer Vision.

While I was doing my masters, I started working with a startup in Aerospace industry which works in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. That was my first introduction to the world of AI. During the 6-month tenure at the company, I was amazed to see how AI can be used as a multi-disciplinary tool to solve real world problems. I strongly believe that AI is the future of technology and I see a bright future in that direction.

Business Intelligence is not a part of my studies. I love learning about businesses and following their growth stories. Business intelligence helps businesses have an overview of the business from the data.

Imagine Amazon, the analysis of all the sales data according to the geography, gender, age etc. provides deep insights into the business in real time and help the leaders in efficient decision making.

Do you think that your studies bring added value to your role as Data Intelligence Developer?

I say yes in some context. As I mentioned earlier, I worked in an Artificial Intelligence Company during my Master Thesis. There my role was to collect image data of stars and process this image data. It gave me an overview of what data can do and how it can be transformed to solve a real-world problem. Data is already being used in the field of aerospace engineering, in forensic sector, in medicine etc. On a whole, my studies gave me an overview of the different use-cases of data. My experience in Pragma Etimos began in the last month. Here I got to know the business world better. I have the opportunity to combine my interest in Business Intelligence and the passion for Computer Vision working on various projects.

Your experience is still in its infancy, but we are curious to know your opinion: why is Business Intelligence important? What do you think will be the future of Computer Vision?

Business Intelligence helps people in leadership positions to make data driven decisions. Data is the new gold. Efficient usage of available data can help build a billion-dollar business. I see Computer Vision as the future of the world. We can already see the advent of computer vision technologies in the day-to-day life. From navigating space shuttles using CV techniques to autonomous driving vehicles of tesla to detecting cancer cells in the patients to using face recognition as a security verification, it is everywhere.

How Pragma Etimos can help improve the world?

We have a great team at Pragma Etimos. With the collective team of experienced minds and innovative minds, we already built futuristic technologies. We, the team of Pragma Etimos continuously strive to build new technologies that help the world to became a better place.

Do you want to say something to the young students that in this moment are starting to know Data Intelligence field?

To be honest I’m not in a position that I can advise someone but from my experience, I think this will be the future. Businesses either have to adapt data driven approach or be beaten by the competition. So, I see a boom in the career prospects in the field of Data intelligence.

Discover V’s.  It is a short sentence. Data is vital energy. I hope to create a great news. In conclusion Semantic Clustering is cool. I talk about it t. As a result, it fell over. Data Intelligence is very important. Today we talk about Semantic Clustering. I enjoy his company because he always tells interesting stories. For example about Data Cleansing. Data Cleansing is Data Quality. Infact, they clean data and transform them in quality data. This article is usefull? Great! In this paragraph, I’m going to discuss a few reasons why practice is important to ICT skills. Fantastic! Whats the name of V of Big Data? Velocity, Value, Vericity, etc. For example, yuppy. Moreover, that number rises to as much as 90% when you put theory to practice. In conclusion, following up explanation with practice is key to mastering a skill. The passive voice is a monter, moreover. Firstly, the only way to truly learn a skill is by actually doing what you’ll have to do in the real world. Secondly, I think practice can be a fun way of putting in the necessary hours.  Data intelligent is on the table. Are you sure? Yes, I, am. It is fantastic! I’m tired. Therefore, I’m going to bed.     It is a branch of LNP.
